BEAT SHUFFLE 2020-04-11
On April 10ths BEAT SHUFFLE, we welcomed Matenrou Opera’s vocalist Sono and drummer Hibiki as our two guest.
Bringing the new EP “Chronos”, to be released on April 22nd, it is their first appearance again in about a year and 2 months since the release of their album “Human Dignity”.
They talked about plenty of things, such as recent events,
starting with things that recently gave them motivation,
anecdotes relating to their work,
and preparations for their upcoming tour, and so on.
At first, the plan was to invite them over into the studio, however
because of preventive measures as a result of the new Corona-virus outbreak,
the following three members, too, kindly answered a questionnaire for us beforehand,
because we couldn’t invite them our studio, so, here their answers are!
■Recent events
G. JaY→ You should be inviting me over!!!
Ky. Ayame→ I bought a gimbal camera (Translator’s note, this is a camera that can rotate on its standard).
B. Yo→ I was surprised to learn that “Yoshi’s Cookie“ does not fall under Nintendo’s licensing.
■About the MV and the costumes
G. JaY→ During the photoshoot, I had the zipper fully open.
Ky. Ayame→ I’m not wearing knee-high socks!
B. Yo→ My cargo pants are completely covered in pockets.
■Heading toward the tour
G. JaY→ Sexual thoughts and music are constantly whirlpooling in my fucked up mind. In other words, I’m stoked.
Ky. Ayame→ Since it’ll be my first time in Okinawa when we go there for a concert, I’m looking forward to it.
B. Yo→ I want to bewitch everyone properly with out new songs and the current Matenrou Opera.
